The camp’s low-impact design, crafted with environmentally friendly construction, invites you to experience nature in its purest form. Light canvas tents provide a perfect blend of comfort and connection with the natural world, whilst our River House offers an exclusive experience also overlooking the Blyde River.

Rukiya Safari Camp is located in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve about 10km outside Hoedspruit, which is often referred to as the “gateway to Kruger”, neighbouring the Greater Kruger region of Limpopo.
The camp is based in Wild Rivers which forms part of the Blyde Olifants Conservancy. We spend our mornings on game drives in the Big-Five Balule area, forming part of the Greater Kruger whilst our afternoon game drives are on Wild Rivers, enjoying the African sunsets.
The area is home to an array of wildlife species and phenomenal birdlife; providing the opportunity to see some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife, from majestic elephants to the impressive dung beetle. Explore further with bush walks and diverse activities, such as full day tours into the infamous Kruger National Park.
