Lentaba Safari Lodge is a luxury lodge consisting of 10 stone-and-thatch chalets. Besides the views it provides of Lentaba’s many hills, the lodge also overlooks a waterhole. Hippo and elephant regularly visit this watering hole, making sundowners and lunches at Lentaba a sight to remember. Additionally, the swimming pool and outdoor bar make for the perfect summertime spot. In winter, the lodge’s many fireplaces promise a cosy refuge after a late afternoon game drive.
Lentaba Safari Lodge Accommodation
The lodge has 10 spacious stone-and-thatch chalets. Each one comes equipped with air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. In addition to its en-suite bathroom and king-size bed, each chalet also comes equipped with its own shaded veranda that overlooks the valleys of Lalibela. Meal times take place in either the extensive open- air boma or in the intimacy of the dining room. Moreover, the deck overlooking the watering hole provides an idyllic setting for a sundowner or two.
Big 5 Game Drives

At Lalibela we are blessed to have phenomenal sightings of the Big 5 as well as the various other species that visitors so enjoy seeing. In addition to the larger, more known wild animals, Lalibela has various lesser-known species and our rangers delight in exposing our guests to these – the curious spring hare is as fascinating as the mighty African elephant! Apart from the wide variety of wildlife, there is a plethora of birdlife to be found on Lalibela – the keen birder can expect to spot birds on safari, at the lodge or even from the viewing deck of their room! There are no public roads running through the property and all the animals, including the predators, roam freely throughout the entire reserve.
