These people at the Tulbagh know their business. We arrived late after 20;00 and the lady was able to negotiate a price from their normal rates to accommodate us. 1. It was value for money 2. Excellent service The only thing I can worth criticize is parking in the street. – francoiss568
comfortable tastefully decorated room with large shower in room, separate loo. modern but Cape Dutch décor. ambient lighting, but ample. attentive staff service. excellent breakfast with fresh wild mushrooms on ciabatta, good coffee. sheltered charming sunny courtyard. Food at the Olive Terrace restaurant was excellent, steak, risotto, veg, salads. we were delighted with our stay. – Sue L
The town of Tulbagh is an ideal centre for this beautiful wine growing region surrounded by dramatic mountains, and the Tulbagh Hotel is the icing on the cake. It is special! The staff, led by the owner, Ali, and the manager, Liani, are a superb team, and more of a family than just colleagues. The Hotel is well used by the locals, and is a social hub with a great atmosphere. Professional, friendly, immaculate and well located. What more could I want. PS. I wanted to fault it, if only to give more credibility to my superlatives – but I couldn’t: Try for yourselves. – Jeff S
