The Tsitsikamma Village Inn is famous for its good food and old world charm, and has been a favourite for many a year!
The historic Tsitsikamma Village Inn, was established in 1946. This hotel is situated in the Storms River Village tucked away in the lush Tsitsikamma forest, close to Storms River Mouth, in the Tsitsikamma National Park. This historic South African hotel has served as a stop-over for travellers for more than a century. Most of the rooms are situated around a typical Village green. These buildings reflect many of the different building styles that were to be found in the Cape Colony during the 1800s.

Brewery
The latest addition to the Tsitsikamma Village Inn is our micro-brewery, brewing up uniquely local brews available on tap. Our one of kind brewery tap room can be found between our Hotel and Marilyn’s 60’s Diner. We are constantly trying new recipes and methods to create unique Tsitsikamma craft beer flavours. From grain to glass, only the purest intentions go into making our beer. The beer is brewed according to the 1487 German Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law): using only barley, hops and water. The ingredients are carefully selected and the water is from our very own well – giving you that original Tsitsikamma brewery taste.
Marilyn’s 60’s Diner
SMALL TOWN, BIG SURPRISE! Shake, Rattle and Roll at this retro Marilyns 60s Diner, sporting the all American Burger and cold milkshakes. Enjoy jukebox classics and take snaps of the classic cars and bike collection, celebrating the sensational ‘60s era of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.
De Oude Martha Restaurant
Surrounded by a wide verandah, looking out onto the Village square, the décor is a blend of today and yesterday. We use fresh, often organic and local ingredients with fresh herbs from our garden mixed with a detail of love to create traditional meals. Cosy in winter and cool in summer, De Oude Martha has good food and friendly staff all year around. The doors always open, stop by and experience the heart of this historic restaurant.
Hunter’s Pub
The Hunter’s Pub is the original hunting lodge lieut. Duthie, son in law of George Rex used for his hunting expeditions. The Yellowwood ceiling in the hotel dates back to this era. In remembrance of those days, the pub is decorated with old riffles, horns, trophies and skins of various antelope including Springbok, Gemsbok, Impala, Kudu, Eland, Duiker, Bush Buck and Bontebok. There is also a stuffed replica of a Cape Mountain leopard in the bar. Leopards can be found in the forest to this day.
The warmth of an antique fireplace is only matched by the friendliness of the staff that will make you feel at home. Relax a while and enjoy a few pints of locally brewed beer in this famous historic pub. Tsitsikamma Village Inn Reviews
“We stayed in the Village for 4 nights – what a gorgeous little place! We got a special offer for the King’s suite – real value for money. The room is very spacious, very clean and has all necessary amenities (even the hair-dryer). Wi-fi was poor in the room, but at the restaurant the signal was better. Very comfortable bed! The entire complex is arranged like a village – with a yard in the middle, guesthouses and a restaurant making a circle around the yard. The restaurant serves very tasty food, and their wine prices are surprisingly low. I’d recommend this place to all my friends!” –Sayora_Lee
