There are ten stone-and- thatch suites at Kichaka Lodge. Each one comes decorated with African tones and flourishes of colonial-chic design. Besides the spacious living area and plunge pool deck, each suite comes equipped with an en suite bathroom complete with ‘his’ and ‘hers’ basins. The main area at the lodge houses the immaculate dining area as well as the guest TV lounge and cosy library. The rim-flow pool that borders the watering hole is also nearby. Furthermore, an expansive veranda stretches out to the watering hole and ensures breath-taking views of Lalibela’s vast plains. Massage treatments are also available at Kichaka Lodge.
Activities
Kichaka offers game drives twice a day in the early morning and late evening. Guests enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as they spot the Big 5 and other animals such as giraffe, zebra and countless antelope. An expert guide escorts guests safely through the reserve on an unforgettable bush walk. Besides the Big 5, the guide also ensures that guests gain a deeper understanding of flora and insects. The Africology suite at Kichaka Lodge offers guests the chance to unwind and rejuvenate amongst the sounds of nature. Massage, skin and aroma therapy treatments are available.
