Eagles Crag Lodge invites guests to return to nature in the most luxurious way. Surrounded by lush greenery and rocky canyons, the lodge offers uninterrupted views of the very best of Shamwari. Its stone-and-glass suites promise to immerse guests in nature, all while treating them to a plethora of facilities. However guests choose to spend time at Eagles Crag, the lodge’s staff will be on hand to cater to all their needs and requests.
Accommodation
The lodge comprises nine suites. Each suite contains an en-suite bathroom as well as various other amenities such as a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and even a scope for bird spotting Each suite has a private heated plunge pool. Meals are enjoyed in either the indoor dining room. The new eagles crag has an upstairs lounge and bar opening up onto the deck with aerial pods and fire pit. Downstairs are a lounge, fireplace, big screen TV and billiard table. The Crag now also has a fitness centre.
Game Drives
At Shamwari Private Game Reserve, we not only offer our guests 5-star luxury accommodation, but pride ourselves on presenting wildlife interaction that is sure to be the highlight of your stay. Coupled with the African horizon and spectacular skies, we offer game drives through the reserve for an experience of a lifetime. Our game viewing drives are available for morning and afternoon trips, as this is when the animals are most active. Our vehicles are open and comfortable, and give you a panoramic view of the area. You’ll be guided by one of our trained game rangers who’ll take you and your party through the reserve, encountering many animals along the way.
