Kwandwe Melton Manor is a sole-use safari villa with four ensuite bedrooms. The spacious U-shaped villa is characterised by high ceilings and deep, cool verandas, each overlooking the central courtyard and its large swimming pool. Your bedroom serves as a private refuge, featuring a large veranda, enormous bed, and a butler hatch for unobtrusive morning service. The generous bathtub invites you for a soak, while the large windows offer views of the sweeping expanse of the bushveld on all sides
Discover Kwandwe’s natural splendour on early morning and late afternoon or evening game drives in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. Armed rangers and trackers, with extensive knowledge of the bush, guide you in tracking the Big Five and observing various other wildlife. Morning drives commence as dawn breaks over the Great Fish River, offering a chance to observe predators concluding their nocturnal hunts. Many animals graze in the cool morning, while the late afternoon often sees wildlife approaching the river to drink. Night drives yield unique sightings, including aardvark, aardwolf, bat-eared fox, and porcupine.
Experience the thrill of tracking big game on foot—including white rhino, black rhino, elephant, and buffalo—accompanied by an armed specialist ranger and tracker team. These exhilarating 3-to-4-hour walks conclude with a picnic lunch on the banks of the Great Fish River or at a scenic spot in the bush.
